Getting to the Brisbane Festival
The Festival is held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Merivale Street, South Bank. A modern, fully air conditioned venue, you can also enjoy several lunch cafes and coffee bars.
Getting to the Festival is easy: train or bus are the best option with two train and two bus stations just a minutes’ walk from the Exhibition Centre.
The Exhibition Centre has limited parking for visitors and the carpark fills up very quickly.
There are a number of other secure car parks surrounding the venue, highlighted here.
★ Available at SW1, opposite BCEC at 32 Cordelia Street when pre-booking online. For Friday, use code: MINDFRI20 for $25 all day and MINDPM20 for $14.50 after 2pm. Weekend parking is $14 per day, with code: MINDWD20. Please note – this is not parking under the Exhibition Centre.
★ The Myer Centre Car Park has all day parking for $8 on Saturdays and Sundays if pre-booked online.
Public transport options
Catching a train or bus is the most convenient way of getting to the Festival.
There are two train stations and two bus stations within a few minutes’ walk of the Exhibition Centre:
★ South Brisbane Train Station
★ South Bank Train Station
★ The Cultural Centre Station
★ South Bank Busway Station

Fancy the Ferry?
★ CityCats operate daily from 5.30am to 10.30pm with the South Bank 2 Ferry Terminal only a short walk to the Exhibition Centre.
