Getting to the Brisbane Festival

The Festival is held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Merivale Street, South Bank. A modern, fully air conditioned venue, you can also enjoy several lunch cafes and coffee bars.

Getting to the Festival is easy: train or bus are the best option with two train and two bus stations just a minutes’ walk from the Exhibition Centre.

By Car: Parking Options

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has limited parking for visitors and the carpark fills up very quickly.

Get Parked have an abundance of budget-friendly casual parking options available near BCEC.

Alternatively, there is also parking available at 9 Cordelia St and 64 Peel St for just $10/day on weekends, with only a 4 – 6 minute walk to the venue.

By Public Transport

Catching a train or bus is the most convenient way of getting to the Festival.

There are two train stations and two bus stations within a few minutes’ walk of the Exhibition Centre:

★ South Brisbane Train Station
★ South Bank Train Station
★ The Cultural Centre Station
★ South Bank Busway Station.

Fancy the Ferry?

★ CityCats operate daily from 5.30am to 10.30pm with the South Bank 2 Ferry Terminal only a short walk to the Exhibition Centre.
