The Best Way to get to the Sydney Festival

The Festival is held in Exhibition Hall 3, Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. Entrance to the Festival is located on Riverina Avenue.

Getting to the Festival is easy, with Olympic Park train station just a minute’s walk from the venue, plus it’s easily accessible by car with plenty of on-site parking.

Transport Options

Sydney Olympic Park is conveniently serviced by bus, train, taxi and ferry services. The site was purpose built for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and has been designed to cope effortlessly with high volumes of visitors.

Coming By Car

Ample parking is available in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. We recommend parking in car parks P1 or P6

A shuttle bus will operate between P1 and the Exhibition Halls during Festival days.

Coming By Train

Olympic Park train station is on Sydney Showground’s doorstep. The Sprint service, operated by CityRail, travels between Lidcombe and Olympic Park Stations daily, every 10 minutes.

A limited number of direct services also operate between Central Station and Olympic Park Station in the afternoon on weekdays and for some major events.

Coming By Bus

Sydney Buses operate direct bus services to Sydney Olympic Park from a number of locations including Lidcombe, Strathfield and Parramatta.

Coming By Ferry

Sydney Ferries run a daily service between Circular Quay and Parramatta stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf. To travel to Sydney Showground, visitors must also catch a connecting bus.
