Psychic toolbox with Mitchell Coombes

Psychics and mystics have long used tools such as tarot cards, pendulums and the crystal ball to tune into the past, present and future. Call it a ‘feeling’, a ‘hunch’, or a ‘lucky guess’; I believe everyone is naturally psychic. So here are three simple tools you can add to your psychic toolbox to focus your spiritual energy and tune into your destiny…

Playing Cards Did you know that tarot cards were originally derived from ordinary playing cards? Playing cards represent strong symbolic meaning. Each suite represents the four directions or elements; earth, air, fire and water, and the 52 cards in a deck correlate to the 52 weeks of a year. Consulting playing cards for guidance is simple. Shuffle the cards and quietly ask a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question. For example “should I sell my home in August 2018”. Now turn each card over one by one. If you come to the ace of hearts first your answer is YES. If you come to the ace of spades first your answer is NO. The ace of clubs and diamonds signifies that the outcome is unclear, try rephrasing your question, or ask again at a later time.

Pendulum power A pendulum is simply a weight suspended from a chain or string. They have been used in the past with great effect to locate treasures hidden well below the earth’s surface, and to divine the past, present and future. Using a pendulum is easy. Simply steady your elbow on the table and hold the pendulum’s chain or string between your thumb and forefinger. Before you begin asking questions you need to define the directional swing of your pendulum. Focus your mind and ask the pendulum to show you which direction signals, “YES”. Now ask again this time for “NO”. For example my pendulum always motions in a straight line for “YES” and a circular clockwise direction for “NO”. Your pendulum may respond differently. Once you have determined the directional swing of your pendulum you can begin asking questions you would like guidance on. If your pendulum swings in a different direction – one that signals neither “YES” or “NO” it’s indicating “MAYBE” or that you’re not meant to know the answer at this time – perhaps try again with a different question. Remember nothing is ever set in stone and you have freedom of choice.

Psychic Gym Exercise your psychic muscle! Before you answer the phone or look at the caller ID ask yourself “who is calling?” When writing out your grocery list – tune in and sense which fresh produce will be on sale. Before leaving home for the day visualise the perfect car space waiting for you at your destination. Regularly practicing simple exercises like these will help you strengthen your intuition.
